Aren't the Basques a funny bunch?
Xabi received an homage today at Tolosa. He was joined by, according to the source, thousands of people but I don't believe it. The event started at the Town Hall and moved on to the Polideportivo Usabal where a commemorative plaque was unveiled together with a photo of him as a young boy with his teammates; all those present in the photo posed ( Read more... ) -

Forgetting all about my ban to post some news and pictures from today which are really worth a look.
